Spanish classes with a native speaker adapted to your needs
From 24.99 C$ /h
The classes are focused on developing the skills needed when arriving in a new place. For example, asking other people for information, introducing yourself, talking about your family, looking for an apartment, talking about habits and tastes, about food and how to go shopping, talking about health and the body, making plans, making calls and expressing your mood. These are some of the most basic things we can start with, everything will depend on what you need.
The classes are aimed primarily at those who know nothing about the language, up to those who want to learn A2. But I am open to higher levels, especially if they want to do conversational classes. Another service that I like is helping people prepare for the DELE A2 exam and the CCSE, the test on constitutional and sociocultural knowledge of Spain. For all this, the tools that I like to use are online books, videos, personalized presentations, games and music.

About Me
Hello, my name is Mariela and I teach Spanish. Let me introduce myself. I'm from Arica, a city in the far north of Chile. I've traveled from one end of the country to the other, but I wanted to expand my horizons. That's why I've been living in Granada, a city in southern Spain, for almost three years now, which I'm completely in love with. In my free time, besides doing many activities with my partner, I like to go for walks in the historic center or in nature, discover new musical genres, take photos, eat and cook new recipes, dance, write, watch movies and TV shows, play the ukulele, and read the occasional book.
My native language is Spanish and I speak English. In addition, I know some words and expressions in Italian and Quechua. Also, living in Spain, specifically in the Andalusian community, I am familiar with the Andalusian culture and variant.
Through my experience of living in another country and teaching Spanish to immigrants, I have been able to experience different realities. This has helped me understand the basic needs of arriving in a new place. So, my classes are focused on developing those skills. For example, asking other people for information, introducing yourself, talking about your family, looking for an apartment, talking about habits and tastes, about food and how to go shopping, talking about health and the body, making plans, making calls, and expressing your mood. These are some of the most basic things we can start with, everything will depend on what you need.
The classes are primarily geared toward those with no prior knowledge of the language, up to those who want to learn an A2 level. However, I'm open to higher levels, especially those who want conversational classes. Another service I enjoy is helping people prepare for the DELE A2 exam and the CCSE, the test on constitutional and sociocultural knowledge of Spain. For all of this, the tools I like to use are online books, videos, personalized presentations, games, and music.
You see, if you are interested in learning a new language, practicing it or learning more about cultural similarities and differences, or if you want to visit any Spanish-speaking country, do not hesitate to contact me, I can accompany you and help you take on that challenge. Thank you for watching the video and I hope you dare to talk to me.
