During my lessons we will find the most suitable way for you to express what you like most. We can learn either how to compose your music and how to play the music you like to listen to, playing both classic and/or electric guitar. We'll practice technique, music and repertoire on the guitar, from classical/acoustic to pop/rock/electronics or whatever you like. We'll practice both composition and improvisation. We'll also practice vocal intonation and rhythmic coordination. Then we'll have a look at the music theory and history, and above all we'll listen to a lot of good music.
As you see, the teaching method is tailored on you and everything is really open. Just 2 rules: practice and have a good time!

Creativity is not teachable! But everyone has his own creativity to express. Music is a good way to let your creativity coming out, especially guitar is the best and the most complete musical instrument to do it.

About Me

Since 2010 my musical practice is based either on teaching and performance.
I graduated in classical guitar at the Conservatory of Bologna in Italy. I did my second year of master at the Conservatory of Gent. I have a Advanced Master degree in contemporary music.
I already have a teaching degree in Italy and I am going to get the Aggregation (AESS) in Belgium. I attended several seminars and workshops on didactics: Orff-Schulwerk Approach; Gordon Music Learning Theory; Dalcroze Method. I give classes to students of all ages and levels, individual and in groups.
I regularly do concerts in Belgium and abroad and I play different musical genres, as a soloist or in ensembles.
I also compose my music - rock/electronic/classical/experimental.
Finally, I obtained a degree in philosophy at the University of Bologna.

Age and musical taste are not restrictive when in the program, you can with qualitative daily work (not quantitative) quickly observe your progress.

Here the pleasure of playing music is put forward.

The rule is simple: don't be afraid to make a fool of yourself! Students are encouraged to try, fail, and overall be proactive in learning new information in bite-sized chunks: all of that in a warm and comforting environment.

I firmly believe in the importance of knowing how to read music and this is exactly what I teach first, obviously adapting the method to the age of my students: knowing how to read music is knowing one more language, which, if learned well, won’t ever be forgotten (like riding a bicycle!) and it is an invaluable wealth.
