I am offering private tutoring sessions for French or English language learning. I will work with students to develop a tutoring plan that is catered to your needs, whether you are looking for lessons supplementary to a class you are already taking, are looking for an opportunity to work on your French or English skills on your own, or are preparing for a language exam. I am a graduate student at Georgetown University studying Applied Linguistics (focus on language acquisition and education) and am passionate about language teaching. English teaching qualifications: I am a native speaker of English. I have a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) Certification through which I have had some experience tutoring adults learned English as a Second language. I taught English to French students in a high school for one year. French teaching qualifications: I have a minor in French from my undergraduate institution (Barnard College) and have 12+ years experience learning and using French. I lived in France for one year.
