About Me

I am a 22-year-old student. I started playing the saxophone 16 years ago and have participated in numerous festivals and concerts, in chamber music, in orchestras, and even solo. I also created the first edition of my festival, focused on classical, contemporary, and jazz music, last August. I really enjoy chamber music and teaching, whether in individual or group lessons.

I am a Clarinet, Saxophone and Vocal coach from Zimbabwe with over a decade of teaching and performance experience from leading a successful solo career and working as a music teacher. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Jazz singing from Haute Ecole de Musique (HEMU) Lausanne where I am currently studying a Masters in Jazz Pedagogy. I have also studied music in Dublin Ireland, where I acquired a Higher Certificate in Jazz and Contemporary Music from Newpark Music Centre's Berklee Track program which is facilitated by Berklee College of Music in Boston. I was the 2024 laureat of the Foundation Casino Barrier Award for talent and creativity and a 2018 winner of the Zimbabwean National Arts Council's National Arts Merit Award (NAMA). I am excited to find eager students at all levels who are keen to learn and challenge themselves in making and learning music. My classes are dynamic, engaging and well prepared.

Saxophonist graduate and teacher at the music school of Thoiry, I offer my lessons for all levels and all ages.

After a double training in classical and jazz, I currently teach classical saxophone, jazz, big band and saxophone ensemble.

The lessons are generally separated into two parts with a rather technical / music theory part and a more playful part where we can play duets, pieces with piano accompaniment or jazz standards. I also sometimes bring all my students together on afternoons to be able to play a saxophone ensemble, it's very educational!

Classes are generally 45 minutes for the youngest (6 years old minimum) and can go up to 1:30. Do not hesitate to let me know your desires and objectives. We will see together what type of pieces suits you best.
