Spanish is the language of love, dance, Latino culture, passion, and delicious food. It is the second most spoken language in the world by native speakers, after Mandarin Chinese, and it is spoken in 28 countries and territories across three continents (the Americas, Europe, and Africa). In addition, speaking Spanish is a huge advantage and will give you access to the Hispanic world, which offers one of the most enriching and delightful cultures and traditions.

I offer dynamic and fun lessons, adapted to different kinds of learners, that will enable you to speak with confidence from day one.

To know a language is to be able to speak it. Too often, we do not learn vocabulary lists and grammar rules, without being able to utter a single word. This does not interest me!
My goal when I learn a language is to speak it, to communicate, to be able to fend for myself without the aid of a translator, and to learn through the language the mysteries of culture.
When I exercise my role as a teacher, I always have these same goals in mind. I therefore base my courses in a communicative approach that aims to be able to talk and share since the first class. For this I use role plays, scenarios, dialogues and other exercises related to the reality of the learner.

Foreign languages play a central role in our life. "Language is a people's card of nobility" (Vasile Alecsandri). It is the heritage of a nation, of a country with its spiritual values, its people, its national heritage. I will help you improve your oral and written communication in foreign languages to help you in your exchanges abroad, to discover new horizons towards the unknown, to immerse yourself in a new culture, to make you discover a new way of thought and to promote your openness to others. My classes are adapted to the needs and interests of the student.

Your age doesn't matter! I welcome everyone. If you have kids I can accompany them during play time to speak in the language as well. I also do accompaniment of adults to real life settings, brining the language to life. For example I can accompany you to the supermarket or the pharmacy etc and we speak in English or Spanish to bring your language learning to life. Languages open the door to opportunities. Give yourself the opportunity to discover the world and new experiences by learning a new language or by improving your fluency. I can help you and I will be there with you every step of the way. You will learn tips and tricks to grasp English or Spanish more quickly and I will share my experiences to help you learn. Learn from the comfort of your home with me there, or via webcam.

Why does learning a foreign language seem so difficult?

Often, it's not a question of talent, but of method. With concrete support tailored to your goals, speaking with ease and confidence becomes possible, and faster than you think.

My name is Rubén and I have two years of experience in private tutoring, during which I helped each student achieve specific goals. I have taught English to a child and helped a German student pass his Spanish exams, in addition to numerous other tutoring activities in Spain.

I have studied and worked in all the languages I speak and teach: Spanish, my native language, English at C1 level, German at B2 level and French at B2 level. I therefore know from the inside the difficulties one encounters when learning a language, and the tips for overcoming them.

I was able to put my method to the test both in exams and in the professional world, combining daily oral practice with preparation for official certifications.
