Buongiorno!
Graduated in Translation and Interpreting at the FTI in Geneva and student in the Masters in Translation and Technologies, I offer you an excellent quality Italian course.
I studied in Italy where I obtained the Diploma di Liceo Classico (82/100) and also the French BAC (14/15). During the 2018-2019 school year, I attended King's College in London. This university offers foreign language conversation classes at the Language Resources Center (LRC) where I taught Italian for students and staff at KCL. I am also a tutor at the ARA where I give Italian and English lessons.
I always prepare my course in advance according to the level of the student. I prefer to start with an explanation of grammatical and cultural concepts and then continue with exercises. I think that a good atmosphere is synonymous with a good job and therefore I always encourage the student and I try not to put pressure.
In the event that it is necessary to prepare for an exam, I make a list of all the arguments to be studied, I prepare exercises and I help the student to study and revise, always creating an active atmosphere.
I am proud to see an excellent success rate among my students.

About Me
I am an optimistic and sociable girl who wants to pursue a career in the field of translation. I have always been surrounded by a multicultural environment. Indeed, I was born in Romanian, but I have lived in Italy since the age of 5. For my studies I moved to Switzerland and UK. I am polite and I love to work.
Education
I was born in Romania, but have lived in Italy since I was five years old. In Italy I attended primary school, cycle and college where I began my course in the context of languages. I attended the "Liceo Classico Giuseppe Govone" which allowed me to obtain a B2 level in the French language and also the French Baccalaureate (14/15) alongside the Italian Maturità Classica (82/100) through the ESABAC project.
Following my interest in languages, I chose the Faculty of Translation and Interpretation (FTI) of the University of Geneva. Also, according to the study plan of this university, I attended King's College London last year where I stepped up my English skills and it got me C1 level.
In July 2020 I obtained the diploma in Multilingual Communication at the FTI (UNIGE) and I was admitted to the Masters in Translation and Technologies.

Experience / Qualifications
During my years in the cycle, I always gave courses in Italian and French grammar, Latin, Greek and also English courses. Then, when I started my year at King's I decided to offer myself as a "Speaking practice volunteer": I spoke in Italian with other students who wanted to learn the language. This experience allowed me to understand how to work with people with different levels and how to prepare specific lessons through a training session given by the King's. Continuing this journey, I decided to apply to become a tutor at the ARA, where I give Italian and English lessons every week.
