I am Irene, a Spanish native speaker from Spain. I have lived in Latin America for two years now and I am currently living in Geneva as a student of a Master Degree in the Geneva Academy. I offer Spanish lessons tailored and adapted to students' needs and interests. I can help you to develop and improve your skills in grammar, reading, listening comprehension, speaking or all of them. About Me

I am Irene, from Spain. I have been living for the past two years in Latin America and I have fallen in love with the diversity and richness of cultures that have the Spanish as a mother tongue. I am an enthusiastic and passionate person. I am always eager to meet new people and discover new cultures and ways of understanding life. I decided to become a Spanish teacher because I am in love with this language and I think I have the qualities to teach it in an interesting way. I also see the classes as a unique space to exchange learnings.

To know a language is to be able to speak it. Too often, we do not learn vocabulary lists and grammar rules, without being able to utter a single word. This does not interest me!
My goal when I learn a language is to speak it, to communicate, to be able to fend for myself without the aid of a translator, and to learn through the language the mysteries of culture.
When I exercise my role as a teacher, I always have these same goals in mind. I therefore base my courses in a communicative approach that aims to be able to talk and share since the first class. For this I use role plays, scenarios, dialogues and other exercises related to the reality of the learner.

I also do accompaniment of adults to real life settings, brining the language to life.
