Whether they are complete beginners or advanced students, I help my students improve their general fluency and communication skills, whether speaking, writing or giving presentations. I am a dynamic, motivating and patient English coach.

To improve :

- Oral communication
- Written communication
- Reading
- Presentation (oral and written)
- Pronunciation
- Communicating ideas
- Fluidity of communication

THE METHOD :

The course is built according to your needs and objectives. The objectives are set from the first lesson so that the whole course is adapted to your needs and that you acquire elements that will be useful to you on a daily basis.

Generally speaking, the purpose of a language is to communicate, both orally and in writing. My classes are therefore focused on this objective. If your goal is to improve your oral communication, we will steer the course in that direction. If it is also about improving your writing skills or your pronunciation, we will add these elements to the course as well.

My method helps my students acquire English in a natural way, focusing on learning English communication rather than learning the theory of the language (Traditional grammar lessons).

Unless specifically requested, the course will not focus on teaching grammar but rather on the natural acquisition of these structures, without having to focus on their construction.

MOTHER TONGUE ENGLISH - (fluent in French and Spanish)

My mother tongue is English. I am also fluent in French and Spanish so can provide explanations in these languages if needed (although where possible we try to stick to English during lessons).

BUSINESS ENGLISH / BUSINESS ENGLISH

Strictly speaking, the phrase "Business English" or "Business English" is normally used as a marketing term, as there is no true form of English (in terms of grammar or semantics) intended for business .

That said, a business environment may require industry-specific vocabulary or certain skills or abilities, such as the ability to communicate clearly and present ideas.

My courses can therefore be adapted to the needs of professionals / companies by focusing on

- Presentation techniques
- Prepare presentations
- Writing emails (Best Practices/Do's and Don'ts)
- Communicate ideas effectively
- The acquisition of a vocabulary specific to the sector

I can also help my students proofread their documents in English and prepare presentations, both professional and personal. We will explore the key principles of organizing and preparing presentations. Giving presentations with a purpose, where those who listen do something with the information presented to them!

World traveler, I have lived in Thailand, Denmark, Greece, the Netherlands, US, Switzerland and many more countries, where I both dtudies and worked as a legal advisor.

I have been tutoring since 2017, both in person, in schools and online, since 2017, I have been working with around 250 students, located everywhere in the world! Here is an overview of my previous tutoring experience:

2023:
Tutor of Dutch at Varady Language school in Geneva

2021-2022:
I worked at "bijlesthuis," a Dutch tutoring institution, where I primarily taught French, Dutch, and English to adult learners seeking to improve their language skills. During the same period, I also provided classes to other students through Apprentus.

2021:
Through Apprentus and other websites, I assisted several younger students (ages 5-15) in Bern and Geneva, helping them improve their skills in subjects such as Maths and French.

2017-2020:
I worked for three years at a tutoring institution in Geneva called ARA, where I primarily taught French, Mathematics, and English.

During this time, I also spent two years working at a private school called Florimont, where I supported students aged 11-16 across various subjects by assisting them with their homework.

I can teach French, Dutch, and English, Spanish and in German, and I thoroughly enjoy teaching and assisting students in their progress and acquisition of new skills.
