Guitar lessons for all ages and levels! What if you played your next favorite song?

From 58 C$ /h

A graduate of the Higher Conservatory of Music of Malaga and with a Master's degree in Music teaching, I teach guitar lessons for all ages, levels and styles.
Would you like to learn to play guitar, compose, accompany your favorite songs, or sing while you play? This is the place for you!

Depending on each student's interests (classical guitar, acoustic guitar, ukulele, pop, chord accompaniment, or electric guitar):
- Personalized classes according to your tastes and goals.
- Learn songs you like while improving your technique.
Do you like to sing? We can work on both!
- From scratch or to continue improving.

My goal is for students to acquire a solid foundation in musical technique and theory applied to the instrument, developing the necessary tools to be able to continue learning and enjoying music independently in the future.

About Me

From a young age, I knew that music was my passion, and the guitar allowed me to grow, express myself, and enjoy music in a very special way. Thanks to it, I have had incredible personal and professional experiences that have taken me far, and that is why I want to share everything this instrument has to offer with others.

I would love to pass on this passion to those who are eager to learn music, guiding them through a creative and motivating journey tailored to each individual.

Education

I graduated from the Higher Conservatory of Music of Málaga and went on to complete a Master's Degree in Music Education at the University of Málaga. Throughout these years, I have had the opportunity to attend masterclasses with some of today's leading guitarists, such as Joaquín Clerch and Ana Vidović, while also expanding my knowledge through courses in music pedagogy and music therapy to complement my studies.

I am currently involved in several musical projects, including the rock band Nuevas Vecinas, the Málaga Guitar Orchestra, and the Carmina Nova Choir.

Experience / Qualifications

I have been teaching private music lessons for the past eight years and have also worked at music schools for several years. In addition, I have performed as both a guitarist and a bassist in musical theatre productions at the Higher School of Dramatic Art (ESAD).

Lessons are based on guitar learning in all senses. I am currently teaching all kinds of guitars, depending on which one you have and want to learn, I Will first see how you play and at what level you are at to develop a learning program which will help you evolve in all senses. We Will use Songs to learn different techniques and also use execises to help you learn scales, chords, arppegios and make everything very practical so that we have a great time while you learn. We Will play over Songs, and we Will also write our own melodies.
Come to my lessons, you Will not regret It, already Many students are Enjoying time while they learn.
The space is also located in Nature so possibility to bring a child and go for a walk IS something many parents do.

Music is a higher revelation then all wisdom and philosophy & is the electrical soil in which the spirit lives, thinks and invents // Ludwig van Beethoven.

Hello everyone. I am a very passionate and dedicated music educator with over 10 years of experience on the Costa del Sol.

We have the option of teaching classes in person at our classroom/studio in Marbella —specially equipped for lessons and with interactive materials and updated educational resources—, as well as traveling to your home along the Costa del Sol, starting from Marbella and going as far as Guadalmina (near Estepona) or Calahonda (near Fuengirola).

However you like it or it suits you best ; )

The instruments you can choose to learn are:

* CLASSICAL PIANO & MODERN KEYBOARD
* GUITAR (ACOUSTIC & ELECTRIC)
* LOW
* UKULELE
* SINGING (INCLUDING MICROPHONE TECHNIQUE)

We start from crucial classical foundations and elements of functional harmony, but the style also adapts to the student's musical taste and what they would like to develop musically, whether it be classical pieces from various periods, songs from genres such as Rock, Pop, R&B, Jazz & Blues, Folk, Fusion, as well as music from Movies and Video Games.

Here we assess each student's natural strengths and talents to build a personalized repertoire and develop their musical artistry. This, in turn, develops their kinesthetic skills, multiple intelligences, emotional expressiveness and modulation, concentration, self-discipline, and interpersonal skills.

The classes are taught in ENGLISH or SPANISH (as the student/client chooses, both at a native/advanced level) with a holistic and comprehensive methodology, developing a balance between the student's innate disposition and their unique preferences in the personalized repertoire we create (whether these are classical instrumental pieces and/or popular contemporary songs, with the added option of singing and playing the instrument in question).

We also have essential books and resources on the subject, including classic texts and methods of musical pedagogy from conservatories (Bastien, Alfred, Carcassi, etc.), as well as contemporary methods from modern music schools (Berklee, Hal Leonard, etc.).

We also have excellent references from years of teaching experience. Our friends, families, and students have been very happy with our work, and some have even passed exams for conservatories and music schools abroad :)

My qualification is as a Saxophonist, but I have no problem teaching music theory.
I have worked in both music schools and professional conservatories.
I currently work as a musician in the Marbella Municipal Band, while also continuing my studies and participating in other musical projects with different orchestras.
