A native Arabic speaker and lecturer at the Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences since 1994, he offers Arabic courses and private Arabic lessons nationwide for all levels: beginners, advanced, and conversation for professionals. Participants in this course will have a command of at least 1,500 words of everyday language, both spoken and written (levels A2-B1) and will be able to conjugate simple, three-syllable verbs (so-called strong verbs) in the present, past, future, and imperative tenses, and read non-vocalized texts.
Course content: This is media Arabic, meaning the language used on the internet, in newspapers, magazines, radio, film, in educational institutions such as schools and universities, and in official announcements. This applies from Mauritania/Morocco in the west across the eastern Mediterranean to Oman in the southeast.

The lecturer has created his own scripts for the courses, which are not included in the course price.

Ich mache gerade einen Film zur Bedeutung des arabischen Tourismuses in Wien / Österreich und würde mich freuen, wenn es noch altes Werbematerial gäbe mit dem damals in Saudi-Arabien, den Emiraten und dem Oman für das "Paradies in Österreich" geworben wurde.

Dort habe ich nicht nur Grundkenntisse der Sprache erworben, sondern habe auch vieles über die arabische Kultur und die arabische Seele erfahren.

In der Vorbereitung auf ein Hochschulstudium westasiatischer Geschichte und Arabisch habe ich ein Jahr lang in Frankfurt und nach einem Umzug dann weiter online über Skype im Einzelunterricht Arabischstunden genommen.

Der Kurs wurde explizit meinem Wissensstand und persönlichen Interessen angepasst, was in der Gesamtheit schnelle und umfassende Fortschritte ermöglicht hat.

Durch berufliche Verpflichtungen konnte ich oft nur kurzfristig planen, worauf der Kursleiter soweit es ihm möglich war, immer reagiert und Termine angepasst hat.

Besonders hervorheben möchte ich auch die Vermittlung politischer, kultureller und soziologischer Kenntnisse über Westasien und Nordafrika im Unterricht, den ich dadurch zusätzlich zum reinen Erlernen der Sprache als sehr kurzweilig und bereichernd empfunden habe.

Ich kann jedem, der an der arabischen oder hebräischen Sprache und interkulturellem Wissen zur arabischen Welt interessiert, sehr empfehlen, Herrn Samir als Dozent zu wählen.
