Hi, my name is Tamara, and I'm an English language teacher, for speakers of other languages.

I have been involved with ESL and international students since 2011. I specialize in tutoring adult learners in conversation-based classes. I am here to help you achieve your goal of being fluent in English!

My approach mixes conversation with grammar. We will have a conversational type of class, when issues come up we will go into detail with the correct grammar.

We will use conversation, life events, current events, articles, stores, worksheets, and more to conduct classes.

Each class is tailored to your specific goals and needs.

About Me

My name is Tamara and I am a certified ESL teacher.

I am a native American English speaker and I have been teaching ESL and English Language skills since 2011. I have worked with students from all over the world, from Russia, Belgium, Guatemala, Saudi Arabia, Colombia, China, and more! I have a great love and understanding of world cultures and languages, I am myself from a bilingual background and culture.

My goal is to help you become a fluent English speaker so that you can achieve your personal and professional goals and be successful in this language. You will have the chance to do most of the talking in our sessions and we will focus on the elements you would like the most help with. We will focus on how grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and all other functions of the language come together with everyday life and conversation. Our classes will be conversation based so that you can get better at speaking and using the language in everyday conversation, this will help you to be the most successful in acquiring the language since most of your interactions with native speakers will be through spoken conversation.

I meet my students at their home, place of work, university or school, at libraries, coffee shops, parks, or any other public areas that work best for both my students and myself.

Summary: This lesson is designed to introduce the student to the art of public oration. Although an art which even most native speakers will never master, the lesson examines techniques, skills and hands on practice to improve the students’ abilities at persuasive speech.
