About Me
I am 35 years old and reside in the South of Brazil, specifically on the picturesque island of Florianópolis, where I have made my home for the past 16 years. I moved here to study English and Literature at Uni and instantly fell in love with this place. That's why I've never wanted to leave! I started teaching Portuguese for foreigners while I was still in college, in 2009. Back then, my students were mostly in college too, and came from different parts of the planet. I later also started teaching English to Brazilians, and then back to Portuguese at college level. More recently I've started teaching online, mainly to businesses, but my extensive experience allows me to teach all proficiency levels, and students with different purposes and motivation. I absolutely love what I do, and there's nothing more fulfilling to me than teaching my cherished native language. Join me and let's embark on this learning journey together!
Education
I have a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from the Federal University of Santa Catarina. I am currently pursuing a second degree in Business Secretariat.
