Hello! I teach private piano lessons to adults and children at all levels. My methods of teaching varies on each individual. I generally start to focus on music theory, techniques, repertoire and understanding music emotionally using dynamics, feeling, touch and hearing skills. The emotional part of music is very prominent when I teach, it is very important for the student to enjoy what they're learning and to also have access to be able to express themselves through music. Some students are better at learning by ear, improvising and composition, some other students are better with music theory and learning repertoire. Depending on the student, I usually work on their strengths to keep their interest and eventually move on to the more difficult aspects of music and learning how to play the piano! Musicians health is also a part of my teaching methods. It is very important to approach music with a relaxed attitude mentally and physically especially to prevent any future injuries! If you have any further questions please let me know! Hope to hear from you soon.

Mathematics is my passion, but I know its not for everyone. Sometimes the material is covered badly in school or at Uni, sometimes you just missed something or do not understand a concept. Whatever the reason might be, my goal is to teach you the material in such a way, that eventually you'll learn how to comprehend new concepts on your own. During my tutoring I focus on explaining the material in an extensive fashion, so that while solving excercises you develop a connection to the concepts and ideas. Thus not learning a specific "way" of solving a problem, but rather gaining an intuition for it. One experienced method, which might not be met with the biggest enthusiasm, is extra problems which I would like you to solve at home. I know it is an extra workload, but nothing comes for free. The excercises will be tailored to you and give you the extra needed repetition of the material. A short note about myself: I am a masters student in pure Mathematics with focus on Algebraic Geometry and Algebraic Number Theory. I have tutored over 40 students in 6 years.
