Understanding and knowing how to speak Dutch and English is a major asset in Belgium. I am bilingual French-Dutch and I would like to be able to help other people progress. I adapt to the level of my student. I can give private lessons or academic support lessons. I am also currently continuing my studies in English. I am a Marketing student who can tutor children that are in school to help improve their English in a fun way. I was raised in Hong Kong and Singapore and English has become a language I speak, read and write better than my mother tongue. My goal is to help kids improve their English in a fun way to keep them interested. Sometimes doing daily activities in English can help a lot more than just learning from a book. I use several methods which are specially conceived to teach Dutch to people who have a different mother tongue. I really like to use methods out of the ordinary like role games or methods with which you learn while playing. All these adapted to the student's situation of course. As I learned myself a couple of other languages, it is easy for me to detect difficulties a student can encounter and adapt the way of learning. I can teach in English, French, German and Russian.
