Growing up bilingual, I have seen and experienced first-hand the difficulties in learning and perfecting a new language. As I child, I was always asked to help the teacher with the English classes and this continued as I grew up. I regularly helped fellow students, family members and friends in both English and French and was also a volunteer student tutor in school.
