Hello! I am a university student at the Polytechnic University of Madrid and I am currently in Edinburgh. If you are a beginner or want to improve your Spanish? Don't be afraid to start. My classes are focused on developing your communication and expression skills, they are 100% linguistic immersion. These are classes that I have taught and in which I have more experience, if you want to learn Spanish to travel, you need to improve your academic grades, conversation-only classes, interesting topics, language reinforcement or you want to improve your communication with your friends/family Spanish speakers. So that you have an idea of what my classes are like: o Academic classes we learn grammar and vocabulary, conversation. o In conversation classes we talk about different topics + expand vocabulary and We correct pronunciation errors. o In travel classes we learn about how to ask for directions, ask for prices, order food, etc. All classes are flexible and adapted to you with the goals you set. As one of the most spoken languages in the world, learning Spanish from an early age can allow children not just to ease into the grammar and spelling but also adapt to correct pronunciation. Being billingual from a personal experience has opened me a tremendous amount of opportunities. From hospitality jobs to work experience abroad. Learning Spanish will also aid in the learning of other languages such as French or Italian. During my IGCSE's, I achieved a Grade of A* (96%), and most of it I attribute to my already fluent level in Spanish. Classes will follow a progressive increase in level and challenge. My first class will be analysing their current level and how easy the student grasps the language, and from there set weekly goals for them to reach. My priority is for them to learn as much as possible the accent and correct pronunciation of the words, followed then by learning of sentence structure.

I am studying Social Anthropology and Politics at the University of Edinburgh. Classics are one of the biggest interests of mine; I started studying Latin and Ancient Greek languages and literature 6 years ago and I have been teaching for three years. I think studying these languages led me to be more aware of who I am as well as understand what is really worth. Latin (Ancient greek too) lessons consist of two different parts: grammar and literature. By studying grammar you are not going to just receive boring notions about the structure of the language, but you are going to deepen processes and rules that form Latin; with this method we are going to discuss about Latin and Greek mindset and then discuss about important themes studied by ancient people in literature. Furthermore, according to your needs and goals, we can exercise on translation of texts.

For the past two decades, I've had the privilege of tutoring in both French and English. My students have ranged in age, background, and origin, spanning children, teenagers, adults, professionals, and even seniors aged 85 and above. You might wonder why I teach both languages. Well, I am bilingual, with American and Swiss/French roots, and I currently reside in Ireland. This unique blend of experiences equips me with a strong and relevant teaching approach. Some simply aspire to acquire a new language to enrich their general knowledge. I also specialize in teaching younger children, a testament to my educational background and experience. Furthermore, I hold a degree in Early Childhood Education and have operated a private "Before & Afterschool" facility along with Summer Camps catering to children aged 4 to 12 for many years. I offer you a German course that is not like the others. There are two types of courses. Here is an analogy to illustrate their respective approaches: If you travel back and forth by train every day and don't have time to wait long at the platform, imagine that you only have two options: 1) Memorise the timetable. 2) Realise that the train comes every ten minutes and that a train arrives for example at 7:00 a.m. In school pedagogy, in textbooks and in normal lessons, the first approach is used - in the course I am offering you, it is the second approach because it is more economical and faster. My offer is aimed at both pupils and adults who want to learn the German language without time-consuming detours through the madness of fruitless school methods. Learning is easy, but unlearning things that have become bad habits is extremely difficult. This makes it all the more important to learn the right reflexes as early as possible. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced learner, with my customised lessons you will greatly accelerate the learning process while having a positive attitude. I offer German lessons for individuals or groups (2 to 5 people). The methods are based on cognitive science and historical linguistics in particular. My modular programme can be adapted on a case-by-case basis. The converging point of these modules is your independence in spontaneous conversations in real life. What will not be covered in the course: learning lists of verbs; learning lists of nouns with articles; learning words with their translations; flashcards; doing school exercises; following the syllabus of a booklet; imposing the English grammar on the German language. What is particularly important to me: to motivate my student and to give him a learning rhythm; to encourage his creativity; to befriend him with the language; the letters and their sounds; to strengthen the memory by training the phonological loop; to teach blueprints instead of memorising sentences; to explain how the language works in order to make my student independent as quickly as possible; to eliminate common preconceptions, such as that 'der' would mean masculine and 'die' feminine, that the accusative would be a direct complement and the dative an indirect complement, that verbs would be irregular, that declension would be random and therefore would have to be learnt with each verb...; to put practice at the centre and only deal with grammar where necessary. A first lesson will give you a sound idea of my pedagogy.

I offer special sessions that meet your needs and objectives to successfully complete your DELF (Diplôme d'Etudes en Langue Française) or DALF (Advanced Diploma in French Language), including the TCF (French Knowledge Test). I have been supporting many interested people of different nationalities thanks to online courses since 2018; For me, helping enthusiasts to practice the French language is a very good experience because I understand that success is a capital objective in the life of ambitious people. Here are some things to know about the DELF and DALF: The DELF (Diploma of Studies in French Language) and the DALF (Advanced Diploma in French Language) are two official and quality diplomas. They are harmonized on the levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. They include the following six levels, in ascending order: A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2. These two diplomas are suitable for all ages and all audiences. In addition, the DELF B2, and increasingly the DALF C1, allow students to enter French, European or French-speaking universities, and certain Grandes Ecoles. Will you have DELF or DALF exams to pass? I have designed this program to combine the foundations of writing and understanding grammar usage. The grammar portion will aid students learn how to properly use grammar, such as punctuation, parts of speech, and master sentence structure. Through these lessons, I will teach students to gain confidence in speech and writing with clarity and correctness. The English portion will enhance reading comprehension, vocabulary development, and critical thinking skills. I will provide various texts and sections from selected readings to help the students develop the skills of analyzing and interpreting language. The writing portion of this class will expand the knowledge of the students to be able to express their thoughts clearly and creatively through structured writing.
