About Me

Born and raised in France and moved to the Netherlands in 1998.
I am a 40 year old single father and teacher.
I have experience at various schools and in business as an account manager in French-speaking areas.
After working in the Netherlands for a while, a change of direction came for me after 2008, where I first started the second-degree training for French teacher in 2009, followed by the pre-master at the University of Amsterdam in 2020, where I am now in the final phase is pursuing my Master's degree in Education and Communication in French language and culture. I now also work in the first grade area at an Amsterdam school.
Over the years I have guided adult, MBO, VMBO, HAVO and VWO students in various areas.
My private lessons are focused on the needs of my students, where I supplement with what it takes to fulfill the need. In a homely and friendly atmosphere at my home or at home where necessary.

Learning languages are always more fun when involving an interaction based on personal interests! That's why I could take a more conventional approach to teaching but I prefer an interactive engaging type of class. We can start with basic daily life based conversations to delving into more detailed and specific contexts, to a level where any types of topics can be covered.

I always motivate my students to do their best and to speak in French during class. I always give homework to practice writing skills.
