Lessons are designed to assist non-native speakers in both modern standard/classical Arabic and regional dialects depending on student preference. Our tutors hold several years of experience in teaching Arabic and are fluent in both English and Arabic.
Our classes are engaging, interactive, and are conducted either:
- online via Zoom, or
- in-person
CLASS STRUCTURE:
Sessions are customized to each student’s individual expectations, requirements, and pace of learning. Students will be introduced to all the fundamental building blocks of Arabic including such topics as pronunciation, the connection of letters, vocabulary, and grammar. This will be coupled with both conversation and writing with a particular emphasis on the following areas:
- Writing: Penmanship/handwriting, proper letter connecting techniques, sentence structure
- Vocabulary: Useful terminology and phrases essential to everyday conversation
- Grammar: Adjectives, Pronouns, Nouns, Verbs, Subject/Verb Agreement, Gender Classifications
- Reading and Comprehension
- Conversation: Proper pronunciation and intonation
HOW MANY HOURS DO I NEED?
The minimum number of hours required to achieve your desired level of fluency in Arabic is ultimately based on each individual's level of dedication and commitment to the program and varies depending on each student's learning pace and the amount of effort and practice they put forth both in class and between sessions.
