About Me

Hi, I am Jeff! Currently, I am co-authoring an academic book titled "Samenwerken aan onze gezondheid" for Dutch university students, which will be published soon by INNREALL. Alongside that I am a studying Integrated Product Design (MSc) at the TU Delft, for which I have been required to write a multitude of reports and research papers.
Besides that I have received the Holland Scholarschip for my studies at KAIST in South Korea.

Education

Currently, I am pursuing a MSc in Integrated Product Design at the Technical University of Delft. What makes this study unique is its focus on integrating social, organisational, and technical domains into a structured creative process. The goal of the designer is therby to collaborate with experts from a variety of backgrounds, and to bridge the gap between big ideas and technical details. In my teachings as a writing tutor I apply the same principles.

As part of my prior education faculty of Industrial Design Engineering I undertook an exchange programme at KAIST in South Korea. There I learned how to communicate across cultures and disciplines.

Experience / Qualifications

I am currently working on my first publication, which is expected to come out in November 2026. It is an educational book about the relationship between health and our urban environment, in which I reflect on the influence upcoming technological and ecological developments will have on our health in the future.

Besides that, I have been working as a tutor for over three years already. I started out by teaching an engineering course at my faculty, after which I branched out to tutoring and workshops. My most recent project was teaching carpentry to children, which has been a real learning experience for me.

Normally also taught a lot in the past, cognitive level method:

Domain work, for example, a book value, for each chapter I make a preparatory analysis of what that domain chapter entails, then I convey this to the child or adult, at the end of that session briefly define a concise learning perspective of yes, what have we learned and I wanted to say and convey effectively, during the session I also immediately make an inventory of how the reaction policy is acting, in advance I define certain homework statements based on the material in a totalitarian way, but determine on the basis of direct analysis what is feasible and what I set as a requirement, what is also being developed further, is always advantageous but not immediately necessary.

Then in the following session I deal with the homework, ask the person very carefully and also make statements of puzzles for personal insight and awareness of one's own abilities, certain homework attributes after a scan where I can see based on the information what direct urgency is involved. I immediately make a copy of the remaining material value, collect this to see if there are errors or whether it is feasible immediately or at a later stage. Make an overview and keep a plot of growth. Periodically I will test certain issues with a ratio policy of frequency based on a minimum of 6 weeks of time, then a short evaluation test every two weeks.
