About Me

I'm an active person who is looking forward to develop my skills as a primary teacher. I love spending time with children as well as creating activities which are engaging and motivating for them. In addition I really like creating new materials that provide innovation to my lessons.

Lessons generally span from 45 minutes to an hour each and I deliver periodic progress reports. Lesson content is specially tailored to the child's current english ability and age.

My name is Cathrine. I have completed my IB diploma at Birkerød Gymnasium. I am currently pursuing my degree in Cognitive Science and Artificial Intelligence at Tilburg University in the Netherlands.

I am originally from Malaysia but I have been living in Denmark for the past 5 years. However, English is my first language.

I am fluent in speaking, reading, and writing the language. Therefore, during the lesson, I will incorporate tasks and activities involving these 3 aspects. We will also go through basic grammar rules that will be useful for both writing and daily conversations.

I will provide printed worksheets and assignments (included in the fees of the lesson) to be done during the lesson and also as homework. Workbooks may be provided at an additional cost which you can work with on your own at home after the lesson. This is of course highly recommended for your own benefit as practice makes perfect.

In the first meeting, we will discuss further on the preference of workload and what you would like to learn.
