Graduate Student of the Humanities and English Teacher in Duty School gives English classes for college / high school students

From 34 C$ /h

I approach the subject with the individual according to his level and his learning difficulties. Thus, my methodology is different from one subject to another and this in order to understand the difficulty of each and bring him what will be best for him. The first class with a new student allows me to set up a personal learning mode.
I rely on some tools that are useful for some (eg quizlet, A to Z, audiovisual media, etc.). For high school students, I am the assessments, tests, controls and exams, as well as the evolution of the 4 great skills namely
- CA (listening comprehension)
- CL (Reading comprehension)
- EO (oral expression)
- EE (written expression)

Support courses only, in English, with possible orientation to scientific English. This course is mainly intended for people with English in their curriculum, as a secondary or tertiary subject. For students, or not.

Do you want to boost yourself, discover or simply find your way in English, Spanish, German, Dutch or French? I'm certainly one of the people you need to meet. My approach to languages is flexible and centered on the learner, his well-being and his objectives. I will probably discover hidden talents in you and awaken others. In any case, this is what emerges from my long experience in all the environments where languages can be taught. In addition, I offer you the opportunity, if necessary, to acquire a methodology to optimize your language learning.

Dear Parents and Students, I am a native English speaker. I lived in Barbados and Indonesia, then moved to Singapore for my studies and worked there for 20 years as a pharmacist. I have recently moved to Belgium. I have been tutoring students in English for over 10 years. I am TEFL certified and can assist with English classes for primary and secondary school as well as teach English as a foreign language. I am available to teach one to one or a group class. Whether you wish to learn English as a beginner, brush up on conversation skills, or need help for your English courses in school, I am here for you!

Learn English with me, Lorenzo, a native English speaker from London with over 6 years English teaching experience and a CELTA qualification. I have had students of ages ranging from 10 to 70, and of levels ranging from A2 to C1, as well as native speakers taking English as a school subject. I also offer specialised English classes: business English, academic English, English for diplomacy, and English for psychology.

I attended an international school speaking Italian (bi-lingual proficiency) and French (B2) alongside English. Furthermore, I studied in Freiburg, Germany, and still teach many German students through Freiburg’s Carl-Schurz Haus German-American Institute. My familiarity with these languages allows me to offer explanations and translations tailored to the needs of my students.

As an active secondary school teacher of Germanic languages and pedagogical project coordinator, I do not just "teach lessons": I provide you with a methodology. My goal? To give you the tools so that you can quickly progress on your own.

My expertise at your service:

Academic & Exams: Intensive catch-up or targeted preparation for secondary school exams.

Professional: Tackle your workplace challenges with tailored, sector-specific vocabulary.

Beginners: Build solid foundations from scratch (grammar, syntax, pronunciation).

My commitment: Every single session is custom-designed. I never arrive unprepared. We do not work just to "scrape a pass"—we work for genuine mastery.

I would like to give English lessons. I much prefer practical application to simple exercises. Generally, I start the lesson with a short conversation unrelated to the lesson (how was the week, for example), and then, depending on the students' requests, I begin the lesson itself. This might involve games, reading exercises, or listening activities. I have a high school diploma (BAC) with a European English option (so I'm at level B2). I also lived in Sweden for a year, which allowed me to speak exclusively English and learn a great deal about the language.

I offer private Polish and English lessons tailored to all levels. During my lessons, I always take detailed notes and explain each concept carefully. We work through practical exercises together and primarily use proven textbooks, while adapting to your individual needs.
My main goal is to help you develop your vocabulary, grammar, and above all, fluent communication. If your level allows, we can conduct the course entirely in the target language.
I have extensive experience teaching English to children and use it daily. Polish is my native language, having lived most of my life in Poland. I look forward to meeting you!
