About Me

My name is Farida, I am an English teacher. I have been working as an English teacher for 3 years, both online and in-person.

I am very passionate about education, and I believe that learning English in particular provides with many new chances and opportunities, which I feel very grateful to play my part in making happen.

I approach teaching with an open and flexible manner that prioritises the needs of the student. Working one on one with particular focus on what a student's particular goals and needs are rather than taking a "one size fits all" approach is very important to me.

I've worked with students from many different backgrounds with different reasons as to why they started taking English lessons; education, career, immigration to the UK, IELTS exams, and so on. Some focus solely on conversational skills, while others look to focus on academic skills.

Having learnt a foreign language, Spanish, I know the process of learning a new language well. I understand both the excitement and the challenges with entering completely new territory that also has the ability to change your life, and it's one of the things that makes me very passionate about language learning.

I hope I have conveyed my teaching style and learning approach adequately, the goals of my students are my utmost priority.
