I offer personalized Latin lessons for beginners and continuing students, with a particular focus on Ecclesiastical Latin and the Latin of the Christian tradition.
Whether you are starting Latin from scratch, working through a particular textbook, studying Latin for personal enrichment, or hoping to read Scripture, prayers, liturgical texts, and other works of the Christian tradition in the original Latin, lessons can be adapted to your level and goals.

I place particular emphasis on understanding how Latin sentences are constructed. We will work carefully with cases, conjugations, vocabulary, syntax, and the relationships between words, helping you develop a strong foundation for reading and translating Latin independently.
My primary interest and specialization is Ecclesiastical Latin, including its traditional pronunciation and the rich tradition of Latin Christian texts. I can also assist students studying Classical Latin, depending on their needs and level.
Lessons are relaxed, patient, and tailored to the individual student. No previous knowledge of Latin is required.
If you have a particular book, text, or course you are currently studying, you are very welcome to bring it to the lesson.

I am an educator and independent scholar with a particular focus on Ecclesiastical Latin, biblical languages, Catholic theology, Scripture, and the Catholic intellectual tradition.
I have a passion for helping students engage directly with the original languages and texts of the Christian tradition. My teaching emphasizes clear explanations, careful reading, grammar and syntax, vocabulary, parsing, pronunciation, and translation, always with the goal of helping students develop a genuine understanding of the language and texts they are studying.
I teach students at different levels, from complete beginners to those who already have some experience with Latin or biblical languages. I tailor lessons to each student's goals, whether they are studying for academic purposes, personal enrichment, theological study, or a deeper engagement with Scripture and Catholic texts.
I also create and teach online courses and am continually developing new educational resources in languages, theology, Scripture, and related areas of study.
