About Me

I am a friendly and cheerful tutor with a relaxed approach to sessions. I have previously worked in a secondary school in Nottingham as a Mathematics Tutor, helping KS3/4 students to better understand their lesson content by acting as an in-class assistant as well as providing supplementary tutoring sessions outside of scheduled maths lessons.

Nottingham Trent University Alumni with a BSc Hons Biomedical Science degree (1st Class) and an MRes Cancer Biology degree (Distinction), as well as A-Levels in Maths, Biology and English Literature

I am a very driven individual when it comes to education. I am willing to work hard and I can guarantee excellent progress over a short period of time. Also, I have over 11years experience working within education. This includes preparing children for SATs, Phonics Screening and other major exams.

Children will be exposed to a well broad and balance curriculum. There will be regular assessment cycles to measure impact and progress. This information will be used to produce reports. Lessons will be fun, personalised and accessible to all learners. Homework will be given after each lesson to consolidate learning.
