I know that learning something new can be hard and students can get nervous (especially adults). My approach is result oriented, but to learn you also need to feel confident. Teaching a foreign language is my big passion and helping people to learn and be the best they can be is my other passion!

My three main areas of expertise (not necessarily in this order):

- Chess: I teach chess to beginners and intermediate players up to ELO 1800 or ECF 1700, working on the tactical and strategic aspects of openings, middle games and endgames.. "chess is life in miniature"!

- Fitness / Running / Triathlon: I coach people who want to get fitter and generally incorporate any endurance activity into a health(ier) lifestyle. I am a dedicated coach who has competed in several marathons and Ironman races (also qualified for the Ironman World Championship). I focus on nutrition, stress and sleep as well for a holistic approach.

- Languages: I specialize in tutoring Italian and Spanish; my style is to keep students challenged and motivated through simple classes and practical exercises (pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary).. I'm a demanding teacher but will guide you in a fun and interactive way.

My first lesson with you would be to assess your level and start speaking Italian by writing in the chat if we are on Skype or on your notebook if we meet face to face.
