About Me

Hello everyone,

I am Anne-Sophie. I am a trained nurse but after my studies, I lived 4
years in the Netherlands, in Amsterdam.
To practice my profession, I perfected my Dutch until I could pass a necessary university level exam (NT2). I also master English because it is the language used to communicate with my husband.
I therefore offer you Dutch and English courses with a lot of oral practice, which is the key to rapid and effective progress. While working in immersion, we will review the important points of grammar and spelling.
I adapt specifically to the student's request by putting together a tailor-made course.

I hope to be able to help you soon in this wonderful adventure of learning another language.

My expertise at your service:

Academic & Exams: Intensive catch-up or targeted preparation for secondary school exams.

Professional: Tackle your workplace challenges with tailored, sector-specific vocabulary.

Beginners: Build solid foundations from scratch (grammar, syntax, pronunciation).

My commitment: Every single session is custom-designed. I never arrive unprepared. We do not work just to "scrape a pass"—we work for genuine mastery.

I offer private Polish and English lessons tailored to all levels. During my lessons, I always take detailed notes and explain each concept carefully. We work through practical exercises together and primarily use proven textbooks, while adapting to your individual needs.
My main goal is to help you develop your vocabulary, grammar, and above all, fluent communication. If your level allows, we can conduct the course entirely in the target language.
I have extensive experience teaching English to children and use it daily. Polish is my native language, having lived most of my life in Poland. I look forward to meeting you!

I have been using English daily for almost 40 years. I am passionate about English-speaking countries and I love teaching the language, adapting it to the needs of each student, regardless of age. Choosing me means choosing a teacher with experience primarily in upper secondary education, but also at all learning levels: primary school, university, college, adult education, language schools for adults, and courses for retirees. I welcome you to my home in a warm and inviting setting. The house is easily accessible. Welcome!
