About Me
Born in Germany and a member of a minority in Taiwan, I have lived in ten countries and speak multiple languages. My multicultural background has given me a deep understanding of different cultures, strong linguistic sensitivity, and the patience to adapt to each student’s needs.
As a native speaker of Mandarin Chinese, I further developed my systematic understanding of the language through professional teacher training at National Taiwan University’s International Chinese Language Program (ICLP). My academic background in Chinese literature has also deepened my knowledge and appreciation of the language. Influenced by the structured nature of German, I enjoy breaking down complex linguistic concepts into clear, logical, and accessible steps.
Having taught dance for many years, I understand the importance of adapting teaching methods to different learning styles.
