- Non-traditional method: no prerequisites required, no mandatory parallel courses (music theory, choral singing, musical ensemble, etc.). The method used is adapted to the learners' preferences = a customized program.
- Respect for each person's pace: no imposed program, learning not segmented by level.
- Lessons given on quality equipment: the lessons would take place at my home, on my professional-grade grand piano
- Open to all ages: from 4 to 104 years old, with no priority restrictions
- Themed group classes (or workshops): building musical instruments/how to listen to (understand) "classical music"/Project about a composer/Music and science/A brief history of music

About Me
Professional experience :
I worked for 5 school years at the Harnoncourt (GAUME) music school. My class had 15 students, of all ages and all levels.

I am currently a piano teacher at the music academy.
I started learning piano in private lessons when I was 5 years old.
Once I was old enough to enroll in the academy, I did. I first had to enroll in a year of music theory... not easy... not encouraging. :/

After completing the academy in Belgium, I went to the Conservatory of Esch sur Alzette (LUXEMBOURG) to improve my skills and, above all, to gain entry to a higher Conservatory in Belgium.
After that, I enrolled at the Higher Institute of Music and Pedagogy in Namur to make piano my profession. I completed the full program (Bachelor's + Master's) under Roberto Giordano.
My conception of pedagogy
I teach in schools and I give private lessons. The approach is completely different depending on the case.
In a school, you have to conform to the system, the rules, the deadlines, the exams; you also often have to follow a set curriculum. Lots of constraints, BUT it's ideal for making music in a group.
In private lessons, there is much more freedom! The method used is then chosen according to the learner (their level, age, tastes, the time they decide to devote to the instrument, ...).
In short, it's on a case-by-case basis; my goal is to get as close as possible to the student's expectations.
It's important to note that music theory isn't a prerequisite for starting to learn the piano. Music theory is learned gradually throughout the piano lessons. It's a bit like learning a language. You don't have to know all the grammar perfectly before you begin. ;)

It is possible for several people to participate in the lesson, so the fees are split per participant.
