Drum Lessons - For all levels, all ages, all people
From 148.83 C$ /h
Pro drummer with over thirty years of experience (more than twenty teaching). If you can count to 4 you can play the drums. All it takes is a bit of consistent effort. Let me show you how to bring the big beat and drive a band. Whether you're just starting or want to get to the next level I can help you. Older students are especially encouraged. Make some noise while you can.
30 minute lessons are ideal for the younger student
45 minute lessons are good for an older, or semi-experienced student
Location is at Fort Knox Studios. This is a pro-caliber rehearsal facility right by the Montrose Blue Line stop.

Extra information
Beginner students should expect to purchase a pair of sticks, a practice pad, and two books (one snare drum, one drumkit). All students must bring their sticks and books to each lesson. A lesson is not a practice session. Consistent, weekly practice outside of the lesson is mandatory for every student.

About Me
My goal with any student is to "teach them to fish". This is best accomplished by providing a thorough understanding of what we're doing and why. Having that context enables the student to begin thinking ahead and forge their own path. At the end of the day the reason we're doing this isn't to play the drums, but to make music.
