About Me

I am a high achieving Year 11 student willing to tutor in English, History and religious studies however I do also achieve highly in science and maths as well as making music and art GCSE so I am willing to offer assistance in these fields of study too.

Education

Finishing Secondary School. This May and am expected to receive high grades. Go to an outstanding grade school and have plans to study further into the given fields.

I used to help with a dance class for young children. I also participate in a self-defense martial art in my free time in order to maintain a safe mindset when traveling.

Learn to speak English like the English do. I have been living in the UK for 25 years and in the early years I experienced how difficult it is to really get through to the English if you do not speak the language at their level. You remain a 'foreigner' and therefore an outsider.

The English that is taught in the Netherlands is outdated and is often taught by university graduates who have never spent more than a few months in an English-speaking environment, so they have never picked up the real spoken language. You don't really learn a language from a book, you have to experience it or learn it from someone who knows the finer points.

I am a professional translator, a member of the NGTV, TEFL certified and have an international business background.

French is a very popular language across the globe and speaking it is a valuable asset. As a native French speaker with years of experience tutoring children, teens, and adults of all ages, I believe could be a great tutor to support you on your journey, no matter what level you are, or wish to get to.

I take quite a flexible approach to classes, taking enough leadership but always leaving enough room for you to tell me what you wish to get out o them. The focus can be on basics or reaching a certain level of fluency and comfort in the languages, depending on the student's level and needs. We will touch on vocabulary, pronunciation, spelling, and grammar, again prioritizing depending on your needs.

I believe in helping students use language simply and effectively so they are able to understand and are easily understood.

Having taken Biology, Chemistry and Maths for A-level and English for GCSE, I tutored students at my school to help them understand difficult concepts during term time and prep them for Summer external exams. I am also happy to tutor pre-GCSE students to help them solidify their knowledge before exam years.
I am very adaptable and will design a study programme to suit each individual using both homework and progress tests to ensure that their studies stay on track.
I am currently at University studying Veterinary Medicine and therefore also have a solid understanding of Biology and Chemistry above A-level standard.
