This class is perfect for high school students (Key Stage 2, 3, or 4 / GCSE level) who are either finding mathematics a struggle or have simply lost their motivation and enthusiasm for the subject. The focus is not just on curriculum mastery, but on transforming their relationship with math by making it relevant, enjoyable, and accessible. 🎯 Core Objectives Reignite Interest: We connect mathematical concepts directly to the student's hobbies, interests, and real-world scenarios (e.g., gaming, music, finance, sports). Fill Knowledge Gaps: We systematically identify and close foundational gaps that are holding them back, ensuring a smooth path to current and future curriculum topics (Cambridge, Edexcel, or general syllabus). Build Confidence: Through positive reinforcement and successful application, we replace anxiety with self-assurance, encouraging students to tackle complex problems. ✨ Why Choose This Class? Seven Years of International Expertise: With at least seven years of teaching experience in international schools, I specialize in adapting complex curricula (like Cambridge and Edexcel) into clear, digestible, and engaging lessons for diverse learners. The "Why" Before the "How": My approach focuses on explaining the purpose and real-world application of mathematical concepts, making the material stick and inspiring genuine curiosity. Flexible Curriculum Support: Whether the student is working on Key Stage 2 fundamentals, Key Stage 3 algebra, or preparing for GCSE/IGCSE exams (Key Stage 4), the sessions are customized to their exact syllabus and needs.
