Learning proper English requires more than textbooks, CDs or teachers who aren't native English speakers. You need interactive practice, practical application, and a qualified teacher to actually LEARN spoken English!

Don't let your accent get in the way! Let me teach you conversational & formal American English as well as assist you in proper pronunciation & grammar.

I've been tutoring students of all ages and backgrounds (from 4-year-old Filipino children to retired French realtors to South Korean Ph.D. researchers) since 2011.

Learn to speak real English instead of reciting from textbooks & CDs.

About Me
I'm a patient and friendly teacher with the unique ability to identify the exact movements that are causing your accent when speaking English. I am also very familiar with the particular sounds of many languages.

Because of this, I am able to help people of all accents improve their pronunciation of American English. Sometimes correct pronunciation is just a smile away.

I am experienced and creative enough to be able to adjust lessons to suit each individual student.
Education
I received my Molecular Biology and Microbiology degree from the University of Central Florida in Orlando, FL in 2005. I also have regular exposure to academic studies from a number of fields due to my work.
Experience / Qualifications
I have been teaching English Online and In-Person since 2011

I have also worked with a number of PhD graduates and students from a wide range of disciplines, from biomedical research to marketing specializing in tourism, on their journal submissions.

The children I have taught range from 4 year old Filipinos to teenaged South Koreans. Classes included vocabulary, grammar, and casual conversation.

I have also helped with professionals from a number of backgrounds, including Real Estate to Computer Programming to Telecommunications and Call Center work, on proper client communication.

I have a very flexible teaching method and can adjust to optimize each student's learning potential.

Tired of stiff, boring textbook English? You are in the right place.

Forget robotic English. My goal is simple: helping global professionals, leaders, and families find a real voice to speak with clarity and confidence.

Originally from the U.S. with over 15 years of business experience and 16 years of hands-on expertise in the Philippines, my background is rooted in cross-cultural operations. This includes nearly a decade running an English Language Program for a leading Japanese digital marketing and ad-tech firm, as well as serving as Retail Floor Manager for Cebu Home & Builders Centre. These real-world challenges across diverse industries have shaped my deep understanding of actual communication barriers.

Why My Approach Is Different
Drawing from 17 years of life in the Philippines while raising a mixed Filipino-American family (including two sons on the autism spectrum), life has taught me more about clear communication and patience than any degree ever could.

While I navigate the fast-paced city life, I’m a nature-lover at heart — trading urban noise for swimming and camping with my family whenever possible. When I'm not coaching, I design LEGO MOCs (AFOL), or listen to classical music and traditional Asian string instruments like the Erhu and Koto.

Personal interests and a real-world background unlock your path forward! I don’t try to fit you into a mold; I adapt to you and your learning style.

• For Professionals: We focus on your background, connecting directly to actual job tasks and personal interests to keep conversations natural. No rigid scripts — just practical strategies that fit you.
• For Families/Youth: Using tools like Bluey episodes to practice real-life social scenarios while building confidence in a low-pressure way.

No generic textbooks or drills, instead we focus on actual needs!

How We Work Together
• Low-Stress Environment: We move at your pace to match how your brain naturally works!
• Flexible Scheduling: Weekend sessions (Sundays) and holidays available to fit your busy life!
