Outstanding Science Primary, Secondary (KS3, GCSE & Chemistry A level) Tutor with 10 years experience

From 77 C$ /h

With over a decade of teaching experience, I am a dedicated and passionate science educator specializing in Key Stage 3 (KS3), GCSE, and A-Level curriculums. My teaching journey began ten years ago, and since then, I have developed a deep understanding of how to engage students of all abilities, helping them to achieve their full potential in science.

Throughout my career, I have successfully prepared numerous students for their GCSE and A-Level exams, with many achieving top grades. My expertise spans across all three sciences—Biology, Chemistry, and Physics—allowing me to offer comprehensive support across the entire spectrum of the science curriculum.

I am also adept at using a variety of teaching tools and techniques, including interactive experiments, real-life applications, and technology-enhanced learning, to make science accessible and exciting. My goal is not only to help students excel academically but also to foster a deeper understanding of the subject matter that extends beyond the classroom.

Whether you're a student aiming to improve your grades or someone who needs extra support to grasp complex scientific concepts, I am here to help you achieve your academic goals.

Personalized lesson plans.
Focus is on fostering deep conceptual understanding, helping students grasp the why behind the how so they can solve any problem.
To equip students with essential study skills—like effective note-taking, problem-solving strategies, and time management—to ensure long-term academic success.

The class is personalized to the student's age and skill, being constantly adapted to the student's progress.

Although some students might learn very fast, allowing the classes to go at a faster pace, the opposite is also true. In my teaching experience I've learned that it's teacher that adapts to the student and not the other way around.

What I propose:
I offer academic support up to high school level, but also courses for adults, depending on your needs.
• 🔬 Sciences: Life and Earth Sciences, Physics and Chemistry, Mathematics, Engineering Sciences
• 📖 Arts & Humanities: French, Philosophy, Economics, Law
• 🌍 Languages: Bilingual English, German (second foreign language)
• 🧭 Exams & guidance: Grand Oral, baccalaureate and choice of higher education — with a few years' hindsight to help you find your way.
• 🎨🎹 And also: piano and visual arts (drawing, painting, comics, animation...)

My way of working:
For me, a private lesson should not simply be used to do homework or learn a lesson by heart.
The goal is to understand, progress, gain autonomy and adaptability.
Whether it's for a simple boost, to regain confidence, or to overcome a difficulty, I want to be there to support each student according to their needs. And if a question or doubt arises outside of private lessons, I remain available to help the student whenever possible.

Truly tailored courses:
I attach great importance to ensuring that lessons are prepared and adapted to each student, to their level, their needs, but also to their personality and their way of learning.
So I'm not trying to recreate a miniature classroom! Here, we adapt!
Therefore, when possible, I like to receive in advance the chapters, concepts or exercises to work on in order to prepare the session and to offer suitable materials.

Feel free to send me a message, see you soon I hope! 😊
