Hello !

I offer French lessons in the form of individualized and adapted support, based on a bond of trust and kindness, so that everyone can learn serenely.
I like to teach by emphasizing lively and interactive sessions (in the form of games, video or film extracts, reading, etc.) which makes learning less boring!
The idea is first of all to (re)gain confidence and to find together the right method(s) of learning and memorization for everyone, because it is sometimes hard to find your way around. in the intense rhythm of school/professional life!

Whether you need support, to consolidate particular subjects, to start from "zero" or need to perfect your practice, do not hesitate to write to me so that we can develop the follow-up that would suit you best!

Nice to meet you !

Experienced French teacher, specializing in demanding and tailored support.

I work with a limited number of students to ensure rigorous monitoring and rapid results. My work is aimed at motivated students who wish to progress significantly, particularly with regard to specific objectives (exams, level advancement, transition to the Swiss system).

Each support program begins with an in-depth assessment, then is structured around a structured approach: mastery of language, writing skills, methodology and development of thinking.

The sessions are intensive, personalized, and results-oriented.

Don't remain stuck with the language of Molière: let's learn to master it with rigor and confidence.

➤ Learn French with a successful technique: the main objective is to acquire bases or improve your level in French (written & oral: pronunciation, comprehension, language construction, communication, conjugation, grammar & vocabulary). It is also to understand the cultural specificities of Switzerland & France.

➤ Whether it is for work or leisure, the classes are adjusted to the initial diagnosis and to your needs.

➤ The method focuses on your own goals and:

• are adjusted to your own rhythm, with (funny) oral and writing exercises
• help to improve your everyday/practical skills
• on interactivity: you learn much more quickly with private sessions and you develop listening and vocabulary skills in an effective way
• these classes are customized courses to create an environment adjusted to each person, to meet your individual needs & requirements, and to learn French effectively.

➤ Statistically, you will be able to notice that you have progressed with these private classes, after 2 or 3 classes (based on our 2023 survey).

First of all, I am keen to get to know my students. The first lesson is always led by a time for discussion around the student's personal expectations and profile. In addition, it seems absolutely crucial to me to always provide solid methodological bases to all of my learners. This is why a detour via methods specific to French exercises is systematically made with students preparing for the maturity or the baccalaureate. Then, depending on the specific needs of the student, I adapt the session and it is often structured around two moments: on the one hand, I give a lecture on a concept, an author or a literary work, and on the other hand I lead practical exercises. Finally, digital documents can be sent to the student later, this is important so that they can keep a record of our work.
Feel free to contact me for more information.

I travel to homes in the following municipalities: Geneva and its surrounding areas, Collonges-sous-Salève, Archamps, Saint-Julien-en-Genevois, Viry.
The courses can also take place by videoconference, in which case there are no travel costs.
See you soon.
Best regards,

Dunja

As a French-German and trilingual student (French and German as native languages – English CEC C1), I offer tutoring and homework help for students from primary to secondary I and II (approximately 10 to 20 years old).
I provide support in all subjects, although French and languages are my specialty.

Having already completed several years of tutoring, I have a great capacity for adaptation, and above all, we will build the pace of the tutoring together according to your needs. Furthermore, my experience as an older sister has taught me how to create a reassuring and motivating environment for learning and education.

Each session is fully personalized:
• Review and explanation of concepts not understood,
• adapted exercises,
• Preparation for tests, assessments and exams
• homework help,
• Methodological support (work organization, memorization, writing, autonomy).

I place particular importance on a caring approach to help each student progress, strengthen their skills and gain confidence!

Why does learning a foreign language seem so difficult?

Often, it's not a question of talent, but of method. With concrete support tailored to your goals, speaking with ease and confidence becomes possible, and faster than you think.

My name is Rubén and I have two years of experience in private tutoring, during which I helped each student achieve specific goals. I have taught English to a child and helped a German student pass his Spanish exams, in addition to numerous other tutoring activities in Spain.

I have studied and worked in all the languages I speak and teach: Spanish, my native language, English at C1 level, German at B2 level and French at B2 level. I therefore know from the inside the difficulties one encounters when learning a language, and the tips for overcoming them.

I was able to put my method to the test both in exams and in the professional world, combining daily oral practice with preparation for official certifications.
