I have already accompanied several students until the end of the college (only for the languages mentioned above) and I continue to regularly teach private lessons to students in cycle and primary school. I can also assist students in mathematics, physics or biology (master the program until the last year of the cycle).

About Me

I am a 24-year-old student in 2nd year of Master in Territorial Development at the University of Geneva. I didn’t have too many problems during school, mainly because I studied a lot outside of school. I have been teaching private lessons for 5 years now and I must say that I love it (in total I have known more than 20 students, ranging from 8 to over 40 years old).

I always felt that the older ones had to help the younger ones, an idea that I probably developed in my mind because I belong to a large sibling (3 sisters and a brother, I am the older one). I rather focused on languages (French - English - Spanish) in which I have already followed several students during their years of the gymnasium, I also gladly help students in primary or cycle, whatever the branch.

Rehearsals are a great way to occupy my free time, but also - I won’t hide it - to finance some of my upcoming projects (Erasmus, renting an apartment, etc...).

Education

I started elementary school at Val d'Arve school in Carouge, before continuing my studies at the Pinchat cycle (Carouge again). Subsequently, I studied at the college De Staël (Carouge for a change). I decided to leave my pretty town for my university studies, launching in 2015 with a Bachelor in geography-environment (with an orientation in sociology). Since 2018, I am completing a Master in Territorial Development, which I will complete in November 2020

Practice leads to perfection

Unless you learned to speak French when you were a child, it is difficult when you don't speak it fluently to pass for a French speaker. However, this does not prevent you from learning to speak it correctly, because it is well known that a language spoken with a foreign accent is an asset of seduction! Although it may seem complicated, learning a new language is always fun and beneficial, so it is important to practice as much as possible and above all not to give up. Take every opportunity you are given to speak the language and listen to French as soon as possible. And remember: practice leads to perfection!
