Obtaining a good grade in A-Level/GCSE Mathematics is necessary to have a strong chance at attending an elite university in the UK however this can be hard to achieve through independent study and revision textbooks. My role as your A-Level/GCSE Mathematics tutor is to shore up misunderstandings in your knowledge, teach and contextualise new content through questions and position you in a direction to succeed in your upcoming exams.
I have achieved an A* in A level Mathematics and a 9 in GCSE and have attended one of the most prestigious sixth forms in the country for mathematics, Kings math's school and have the knowledge and tools to assist you in your academic journey.

About Me

Hello, I'm Khalid and i am 19 years old currently in my gap year completing an internship in Data Analytics. I'm quite data and method based and excel in all things maths and logic. Although i do not have much tutoring experience, I've attended King's mathematics school which specialises in the mathematical sciences and have a wealth of experience and knowledge in the types of questions and methods to tackle the tough questions that appear in the A level/GCSE Maths syllabus.

I am a graduate from Queen Mary University of London with a first class degree with honours in Mathematics and Actuarial Sciences.

Mathematics is an essential subject studied by all students from prep school to GCSE class. Having adequate Maths knowledge also helps students understand science subjects such as Physics and Chemistry. Studying Maths has always been fun for me since I love finding the most efficient way to solve problems. I understand that not all students feel this way and that is why I am here to teach students not only the fundamental methods to solve Maths problems but also how closely related Maths is to our real world.

In my lessons, I will use Key Stage, AQA, and GCE Maths books with sample papers to explain the content thoroughly to my students. I will also offer class notes written by myself specifically for my students to help them grasp the knowledge in a clear layout.

Having completed both my GCSE and A-level studies in the UK, I have firsthand experience of studying and taking these exams and hope to deliver my tips to my students. I am fluent in English although my native language is Mandarin Chinese. Finally, as an older sibling, I have experience assisting my sister the whole way through her GCSE exams. I believe I am patient and eloquent when teaching younger students. I look forward to getting to know my students and helping them ace their upcoming exams.
