I provide English classes in the areas of business, academic, exam prep, conversation, writing and subject specific (i.e. aviation, tourism, relocation, etc). I've worked with students of all levels and ages. I love learning foreign languages so understand the unique challenges from the student's point of view.

My teaching method is highly individualised and based off the student's specific goals and desired outcomes. During our initial session, we will have a conversation to discuss your expectations, needs and hopes for your English classes. I will then provide bespoke classes to fit you and your interests and goals. Throughout our sessions, I will continue to check in with you to see how our classes can be adjusted to be as beneficial as possible. The classes can be as structured or unstructured as you wish. My goal is to adapt to your specific learning style and assist you in achieving your desired English level.

About Me

I grew up in both the US and UK, completing my bachelor degree at The George Washington University in International Development and my masters degree at the University of Amsterdam in Medical Anthropology and Sociology. I spent 7 years living and working in Asia and South America before moving to London 3 years ago. During this time, I received my TEFL qualification in Thailand and taught English in university, professional and 1-to-1 settings. I co-founded a consultancy called Lingua Franca English which assisted non-native English speakers going through international transitions such as relocations, career changes or university exchange programs. More recently I managed an international team of language teachers for a relocation language training provider. I am currently working as a private English teacher and relocation coach assisting students and clients who have recently relocated to London or are planning a future relocation.
