With over 15 years of teaching experience, I offer fun, engaging and high-quality trumpet lessons for both children and adults of all ages and abilities. I currently teach at leading schools including Brighton College, Cardinal Vaughan Memorial School, and recently Rikkyo School in Horsham. My experience ranges from complete beginners taking their very first notes, through to advanced students preparing for Grade 8, Diploma, auditions and performances.

Lessons are tailored to each student’s goals, whether that’s learning for enjoyment, building confidence, preparing for exams, developing jazz improvisation skills, or improving classical technique. I teach both ABRSM and Trinity syllabuses, alongside jazz, classical and contemporary styles.

Alongside teaching, I am an active professional trumpeter whose career has included performances, touring and recording with major artists such as Jools Holland as well as appearances on television and international stages. This real-world performing experience brings valuable insight and inspiration to every lesson.

Classically trained to Grade 8 on the Piano and regularly working with artists in a Recording Studio environment, I'm offering exciting lessons in Piano, Music Production and Composition for ages 11+. **Enhanced DBS Certificate**

Each component can be taught separately (e.g you may simply be interested in Piano lessons) or I can provide a complete course which takes students from an introduction to Piano through to Production and eventually being able to Compose, Produce and Release their own music.

Whichever you choose, the emphasis is on fun lessons which provide practical skills equipping students in the real world.

- Piano is taught on an upright acoustic
- Music Production is taught using Pro Tools (The industry standard), Native Instruments and a MIDI controller keyboard
- Students are also able to record vocals within their projects if they wish

Due to my label and agency ownership, I am also able to provide insight into the Music industry including areas such as Music for TV, Film and Advertising which may be useful for GCSE/A-Level Music students.

I specialize in tutoring piano/keyboard lessons, but I am also offering music theory lessons depending on your preference. Lessons for all abilities and ages, teaching the basic principles of performance or theory through to the more advance concepts, able to adapt lessons to students needs. Due to my experience I have knowledge and skills for a variety of genres, which include the main styles pop, jazz, rock, classical and many more, my lessons will demonstrate the correct techniques and theoretical knowledge needed to become competent within these.

I am also able to guide and teach students through their grades 1-8 on electronic keyboards or piano, for those who are looking to take their music that little bit further.

Saxophone at any level. Improvisation and jazz theory. 1-2-1 and/ or ensemble tutoring. Personal development programmes with a learning plan and bespoke materials. Student sets agenda and targets, pace and depth. Dynamic levels of engagement with the subject of the instrument and the artistic intention.

I enjoy teaching both harp and flute at my studio in Worthing and also offer lessons online. I studied at The Royal Academy of Music, London graduating with a first-class Master's degree and an LRAM music teaching qualification. Learning an instrument is a very rewarding and enjoyable experience and I teach students of all ages and abilities from complete beginner to advanced levels. Music theory will be integrated into the lessons and you will have the opportunity to take part in performances and work towards graded exams if you wish to do so or just play for fun! Each lesson will be tailored to the individual pupil’s needs, level, and style. I teach a wide variety of musical styles including Classical, Celtic, Pop, Jazz, and more!

Beginning to study orchestra, band or opera conducting? Honing your skills at university, been asked to work with a local choir, or gearing up for a new position? Come study conducting with me - internationally renowned orchestra, opera and contemporary music conductor Ryan McAdams.

Together we will work on score preparation, baton technique, ear training, instrument knowledge, and all the ins and outs of a career as a conductor. Come journey with me into this incredible field, whatever your level of experience or specific musical passions. I look forward to working with you!

Finding your sound as a musician can be difficult, especially when you are unsure of what will help you progress to the next level of your playing. It can be very easy to get comfortable in playing the same scales and song pieces without seeing the path that continues onwards in your guitar learning journey - I personally know this feeling as it is something that I had to overcome myself.

In my classes, we will set clear pathways that focus on Technical and Stylistic Development before looking at the greater Contextual Elements that we must consider as musicians. Through this combination, my goal is to broaden your musical horizons and to bring out the best player that you can be.
