James has studied harpsichord with: Dr. Malcolm Hamilton, Dr. Robert Watson and Dr. Burton Carson. James has studied organ with: Dr. Esther Jones, Phillip Riddick.


James has taught piano since 1985 privately and at university, community college and performing arts high schools.

James is also an artist developer preparing talented pianists for careers in the arts. Lessons include theory and ear training and James teaches all genres of piano.
