About Me
I'm the director of a trilingual (Chinese/English/Hungarian) kindergarten in Budapest, where I lead a staff of eight and oversee around 36 students. Alongside that, I teach Chinese and English directly to children, and I tutor secondary and university-bound students in Chemistry, Biology, and Math.
I came to teaching through scienc, I hold a Master's in Chemistry with a focus on Medicinal Chemistry, and spent time researching computational polymer science before moving into education and school leadership. That background shapes how I teach: I care about students actually understanding a concept, not just memorizing it well enough to pass a test. At the same time, running a kindergarten day to day has taught me a lot about patience, how differently people learn at different ages, and how to keep a lesson structured without it feeling rigid.
With older students, I focus on building genuine understanding of the fundamentals, working through past papers and exam technique, and adapting the pace to what each student actually needs — whether that's steady term-time support or focused pre-exam revision. I also help students preparing for university applications think through their subject choices and how to present themselves well.
With younger children, I focus on making English, reading, writing, and early math feel natural and engaging rather than like a chore — lots of repetition, encouragement, and building confidence step by step.
Education
MChem in Chemistry with Medicinal Chemistry, including a research project in computational polymer science using molecular dynamics simulations and polymer informatics methods. Also hold an International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma, completed as a trilingual student across English, Chinese, and Hungarian.
Experience / Qualifications
Tutoring experience in Chemistry, Biology, Science, and Math at IGCSE level
Tutoring experience in Chemistry at IB level, including university application preparation
Tutoring experience in Math and English for younger children

I hold an MChem in Chemistry (Medicinal Chemistry focus) with a research background in computational chemistry, and I currently direct a trilingual school in Budapest. I tutor IGCSE-level students in Chemistry, Biology, Combined Science, and Math.

Lessons follow your school's specific syllabus and past-paper style, with a focus on strengthening fundamentals, closing knowledge gaps, and building exam technique. Whether you need regular term-time support or focused pre-exam revision, I'll structure a plan around what you actually need.

I'm the director of a trilingual (Chinese/English/Hungarian) kindergarten in Budapest, where I teach language and oversee learning for children ages 3–12. I offer lessons in English, reading, writing, and math, built around how young children actually learn best — through engagement, repetition, and confidence-building rather than rote drilling.

Sessions are adapted to your child's age, attention span, and current level, whether that's early phonics and number sense or building stronger reading and writing fluency.

I am an LSE first year student received 3A*(including science)3A in IGCSE and A* in both A-level Mathematics and Chemistry. I have been tutoring IGCSE and A-Level maths and sciences at school for students from Year7 to 13, successfully improved my tutee's A-level math grade from F(38%) to an A(81%) in three months. I have kept my high-school notes and I'm happy to share them; also I am familiar with the specific tricks to tackle GCSE and A-level exam questions. I'm sure I can boost the student's understanding of these subjects, therefore improve his/her grades effectively.

Science in general should be fun to learn. If taught in the right way, students will enjoy the procesa of learning and that is exactly what I try my best to do. I have been giving private tuitions since 2018 and have found good success and enjoyment doing it. Since I'm pursuing my masters in Chemistry at ELTE, I would like to stay in touch with academics and science in my free time by giving tuitions.

Hi!

I’m Dani, a 26-year-old Finance graduate and private tutor with 5 years of teaching experience. Maths has always been a huge part of my life—from studying A-Levels to earning a First Class Honours degree in Corporate Finance (in English). I love the subject, and my goal is to share that enthusiasm with you.

The Golden Rule: There is no such thing as a stupid question, or a lost cause.

I take a student-centered approach. I tailor every lesson to your personal learning style and needs. Whether we need to tackle advanced concepts or go back to basics like 1+1, I will make sure you understand the 'why' behind the math.

I know what it’s like to struggle with problems that a little bit of guidance could have solved. My mission is to provide that guidance so you don’t have to struggle alone, especially in the 'challenging' academic situation in Hungary today.

Let's work together to reach your goals and make tackling life's obstacles easier.
