Private lessons in French, History-Geography, Spanish and English

From 31 C$ /h

-Student in first year of master's degree in specialization on the Middle Ages, I give private lessons for three years in a range of age from 10 to 16 years.
-I seek to explore alternative pedagogies, to awaken and help students with cultural elements. Quiet and patient, I always try to accompany the student and push him to look for himself the information he does not remember, and I do not promote the internet.
-For French classes, I encourage the progress of work around the common reading of a book, in order to encourage the student in reading, improving vocabulary and spelling
-For language work, I favor orality because most young people do not speak enough in class and have problems with listening comprehension
-I do not give any homework, except when the student has not done what he had to do during the session: You must be able to finish everything you have started

Extra information

I encourage the purchase of a notebook specifically for private lessons, it will help to visualize its progress, for learning it must also have a small directory in which any new vocabulary will be noted

➤ Learn French with a successful technique: the main objective is to acquire bases or improve your level in French (written & oral: pronunciation, comprehension, language construction, communication, conjugation, grammar & vocabulary). It is also to understand the cultural specificities of Switzerland & France.

➤ Whether it is for work or leisure, the classes are adjusted to the initial diagnosis and to your needs.

➤ The method focuses on your own goals and:

• are adjusted to your own rhythm, with (funny) oral and writing exercises
• help to improve your everyday/practical skills
• on interactivity: you learn much more quickly with private sessions and you develop listening and vocabulary skills in an effective way
• these classes are customized courses to create an environment adjusted to each person, to meet your individual needs & requirements, and to learn French effectively.

➤ Statistically, you will be able to notice that you have progressed with these private classes, after 2 or 3 classes (based on our 2023 survey).

Hello to all of you!
I welcome you to my profile.
You would like to learn French and I would also like to teach you French.
Fortunately, French is my native language. I live in Brussels where I have taught many French courses to French speakers and also to non-French speakers in the framework of FLE (French as a Foreign Language), mostly face-to-face and also some distance learning. I want to expand the use of distance learning.
Hence my presence on this site.
My greatest wish is to help you make as much progress as possible in French.
To this end, I use a judicious combination of oral and written exchanges.
I use these conversations to introduce grammatical concepts and expand your vocabulary. All this in a fun and friendly atmosphere!
You will have to express yourself a lot in French, because my level of Dutch is average. In fact, I speak it at a "normal" pace, but with a more limited vocabulary and expressions than yours.
This may seem a little frustrating at first, but it is a real benefit to you as it forces you to express yourself in French as much as possible!
It's all in your favor!
Please contact me as soon as possible so that we can start a fruitful cooperation.

My name is Joana. I am a native Spanish teacher, with a degree in Spanish Literature and Language and a Master's degree in Spanish as a foreign language (UNED Faculty).
■ Since 2009 I have been working at the Cervantes Institute as an OFFICIAL EXAMINER of DELE diplomas (Diploma in Spanish as a Foreign Language)
(I am fluent in French, so during the course I give all the necessary explanations in French on grammatical rules or vocabulary.
Having extensive teaching experience, I prepare students/adults for all levels of the DELE Spanish Diplomas and for all official Spanish exams within Universities.
● Spanish courses for adults who intend to travel or live in a Spanish-speaking country.
● Specialized fun Spanish courses for children (6-13 years old), audiovisual material, interactive games on the internet, choice of textbooks taking into account their age. Children learn the language through experiences and experiences while having fun.
● Help with school homework/exams for French students (all levels, + preparation for BTS, CNED)
● Spanish courses for adults who use Spanish in a professional context (Business Spanish: tourism/restaurants, law, etc.)
● Spanish pronunciation/phonetics/conversation courses (exercises provided by the Cervantes Institute). During my Master's degree, I specialized in Spanish phonetics for foreigners. Students can achieve a very good level of oral production even if they are beginners* :)
● Written production, grammar, oral and written comprehension.
● Spanish civilization course.
I live in Spain, so I give all my classes on Skype.
Skype classes are very flexible and as effective as face-to-face classes! (100% success rate for all Cervantes Institute DELE diplomas and all university exams!)
■ COMPLETE learning materials provided to all my students according to their personal level/age/interests (DELE preparation manual, grammar book, pronunciation guide, notes, mp3 audios)
