I teach Classical Piano, Jazz, Pop, Variety, Rock, Solfege and Harmony, for beginners or for more advanced levels and for all ages (children, teenagers, adults). I also work with the singers who need to learn the chords and general bases of Harmony applied to the Piano.

Folk or classical acoustic guitar. The teaching philosophy is adapted to the level of each individual, according to the pace of work and motivation. For example, for beginners: Technique of the plectrum or fingers, coordination and correction of the right and left hand. Learning basic chords, simple themes, simple rhythms, reading tablatures (...). For intermediaries: development of rhythm, construction of chords, writing of tablatures, basic notions of harmony (...). Depending on your goals, you can learn, if you wish, to play 60 to 80% of current music from the first lessons, which often use the same chords and the same techniques. I am Thijs (30) an experienced drummer and musician, with a wide range of musical interests. Studying jazz drums under the wings of Lander Gyselinck at the KASK/Conservatory in Ghent. In addition, I have followed masterclasses and lessons from/with Joey Baron (US), Kendrick Scott (US), Corey Fonville (US) and Stéphane Galland (BE). I am also active in various bands/groups. My lessons, depending on the level, focus on both the fundamental building blocks of drumming and music as a whole. These building blocks together with the student's interests form the curriculum, so that it meets the student's wishes as best as possible. I also teach music theory/music theory. Some aspects of this are also offered during drum lessons. In the end, it's you who will enjoy it the most, so that's what I'm focusing on! The Contrabass is a marvelous instrument: powerful, subtle, demanding, astonishing. Graduated from the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Paris in Jazz specialty and teacher (private individual / replacement in conservatory) for 4 years, I suggest you dive into the heart of his universe. For this I appreciate relying on a flexible method putting the passion and envy of my students at the forefront. My horizons: -The jazz double bass (walking bass, improvisation, sounds, repertoire, rhythm, theory ..) - the "general" technique (body position, right hand, left hand, flexibility, etc.) -the classical double bass (sound of the bow, phrasing, study of pieces ...) - "contrabassistic" culture (operation of the instrument, the undisputed masters, the repertoire in the broad sense ...)
