Let me introduce myself: my name is Michiel. I have always had a passion for the English language and culture, which is why I decided to make it my professional mission in life to teach and help others with this unique and beautiful language.
I started teaching English in 2008 and I have never regretted this decision!

I speak fluent English, Dutch, French and Spanish (and some basics of German, Polish and Hungarian). This means I can help you out with our English class in other languages in case you are a beginner.

Degrees: I first obtained a Bachelor’s degree in English-Spanish philology. After that I completed a Master’s degree in Comparative Modern Literary Science and a second Master’s in Specific Teacher Training. I studied at the Metropolitan University of Manchester and the University of Ghent.

Next to teaching, I am interested in antique (especially Art Nouveau), traveling and learning about new cultures. I grew up in Belgium (Flanders), but I have also lived in England, Spain, and Hungary. I currently live in Brussels.
