Methodology :
During our first meeting, together we will determine why you or your child would like to take private English lessons, which will give us our objective.
We will see together the difficulties encountered, and I will offer you an evaluation, which will help me structure our courses.
I work based on the specific needs as well as each person's way of learning and understanding, always relying on your strengths.
Thus, my lessons are adapted to each student. This is why I do not hesitate to question my teaching approach whenever necessary.
My private lessons are aimed at:
- to students from primary to third grade.
- adults, from beginner to A2 level.
Course:
I discovered a passion for English when I was a child. To learn the language, I enhanced my academic career with personal initiatives.
My academic background:
I was lucky enough to enter the European English section in 6th grade, at the age of 10. I continued on this path until the validation of my scientific baccalaureate with honors with this same option at the age of 17.
This allowed me to study English in more depth.
During my secondary education, I was able to travel to England, Ireland and Scotland.
I have also validated the following 3 certifications, issued by Cambridge Assessment English:
- at the age of 15: A2 Key for Schools (KET) - Pass with merit - Profile: exceptional
- at the age of 16: B1 Preliminary for Schools (PET)
- at the age of 17: B2 First for Schools (FCE) - grade A = C1 Advanced
My personal initiatives:
My passion for the English language motivated me to enrich my academic career in my own way.
At the age of 12, I began to work on my accent, my pronunciation, and to deepen my oral comprehension and acquire more and more vocabulary by studying the songs of my favorite artists.
At the age of 16, I had the chance to do a language stay in Malta, and returned to France with a Certificate of Attendance (level: advanced), delivered by AM Language Studio.
I have lived in the United States (Florida) and the Bahamas. I was an employee there, a diver in my "spare" time and participated in several volunteer programs to preserve the marine environment (notably with the University of Miami).
Frequently meeting French people, I was able to put my skills as an interpreter into practice. I returned from this stay completely bilingual at the age of 19.
Educational experience:
I have held the professional guide-lecturer card since 2018 (bac +3).
Since 2013, I have been teaching groups through guided tours, activities, educational interventions in schools...
In addition to private lessons, English is still part of my daily life today, in both private and professional environments. A true enthusiast of the English language, don't be surprised if you meet me at the Cafés Polyglottes!
