My name is Olivia and I am a student at the faculty of cultures and foreign languages of Nantes. I propose a learning of the English language (English), that it is the grammar, the oral one (which I find priority), the conjugation, and of course the vocabulary. The principle of my court could be summed up in one word: diversity. Diversity of support; indeed I wish to give the bases (SOLIDES!) but also to vary the supports by using texts of songs, literary extracts (of all times), films (subtitled French or English), and also the radio BBC 4 / 1 (British radios with journalists with a pleasant accent to hear and easy to understand). As you may have noticed, I speak a lot about British culture but I also have 3 years of American culture in my legs and I would also like to propose (or ask you to choose) fragments of the US culture! English must be a pleasure and a communication tool. This courtyard will also be an opportunity to know how to talk about yourself and take an interest in others! I am very open and eager to hear from you dear future students! For more information do not hesitate to contact me. Thank you for your understanding. See you soon!

Colombian student in architecture residing in France for 6 years and with a degree in foreign languages, I offer courses in English and Spanish (all levels) and tutoring for college students. SPANISH Colombia is known as having one of the most beautiful forms of Spanish in South America. Having had a very complete training of the Spanish language, I am able to transmit simple and fast methods to learn to conjugate and to understand the rules of grammar. As for English, the courses are based on grammar and conjugation, while adding common vocabulary + slang (valid for Latin America and for Spain). The intensity and the level of requirement will be adapted according to the level and the age of the student. ENGLISH: I was fortunate to live in the United States for a long time in my life. As a result, I have a very good level of English and a great understanding of grammar and conjugation. These two points are the asset needed to master a language. This first phase will be accompanied by useful vocabulary as well as slang (essential to understand discussions, the newspaper, interviews ...). The intensity and the level of requirement will be adapted according to the level and the age of the student.

During our session, we will start by doing English homework together in order to clarify misunderstood points and solve the exercises. Then, we will delve deeper into the subject seen in class through different exercises, whether orally to improve pronunciation and expression, or in writing to strengthen grammar and vocabulary. This approach will allow us to consolidate your knowledge and better understand the concepts covered.

Each lesson is structured, progressive and tailored to you. My method isn’t limited to the piano — it encompasses three essential pillars: rhythmic practice, music theory and musical culture (great composers, legendary performers, the classical repertoire). My speciality? Classical music. From your very first notes to the great works of the repertoire, I will guide you with rigour and passion on a journey that builds a truly solid and lasting foundation. I offer 30-minute and 60-minute lessons, tailored to your schedule. But here’s my philosophy: I don’t work magic on my own. Real progress comes from teamwork — you practise at home, you prepare, you explore. And together, in class, we make progress. It’s this partnership that creates real musicians. Ready to get started? I look forward to meeting you !

A graduate of the CEM and DEM in violin and music theory, I offer violin and music theory lessons. I have been teaching violin for three years to beginner and intermediate children who progress very quickly. For beginners, I offer an introduction to the instrument, then gradually integrate music theory alongside the lessons. I emphasize bow and left-hand positioning so that the student can progress with relaxation. I also work on breathing, a very important concept in music. I am patient, friendly, and attentive to the student's needs to help them progress despite any difficulties. I also played piano for six years. Every year, I attend two-week violin workshops during which I teach violin to young children.

The goal of each subject is to understand and identify the difficulties to learn and improve while having fun. I like to use several media (books, movies ...) to accompany a course. The whole thing is to use information as well as research out of program to be able better to apprehend the problems of the various school programs. Why not go outside? Great curious and in love with culture, I like walking through museums and exhibitions to learn more and transmit my knowledge.
