Easy-to-understand Piano Lessons with Cole!

I've been playing the piano and studying music theory now for years. I play professionally in a band, sometimes several; I can read sheet music and teach it to you, and I can get you to understand some key music theory, confidently, in easy-to-understand terms, way easier than expensive years of college at any number of music schools. And I can make it fun, too, I'm willing to bet.

This is PERFECT for you, if you like or want to understand music beyond the boring frills and tribulations of classical music, and instead you'd like your own flavor of music to be a little more, ah, "contemporary".

With influences ranging from The Doors and The Beatles, to The Decemberists, to Dr. Dre, to retro video game music from the NES like Mega Man and Castlevania, to Classical Hanon, and everything else in between; I can give you some of the most helpful and easy to understand tips on the market.

Wanna make some noise? Contact me. I'd love to hear what you've got.
Extra information
It'll help to have your own keyboard, for one thing. If you don't have a upright Boston Grand Baby Piano in your pocket or between your couch cushions; I recommend, on the cheap, a Roland Go:Keys 3 or Go:Keys 5. They're cheap, simple, well made. Five whole octaves of music with 61 keys and a whole assortment of fun sounds and effects. They plug in and out of most outputs, and they have a nice feel to them.

But of course, I'll work with just about anything.

Tell me what you'd like to know, or if there are any songs you'd like to learn, and I'll do my best to walk you through them the best I can.

About Me
I'm a young man and a hardened Bostonian, sure, and I'm a bit of fun trouble - but, hey, isn't that fun coming out of a music teacher?

I'm well read and I've become something of a bookworm lately, too, but - well, there's no better application of that than making some loud and disrespectful music if you asked me.

I play regularly with a band at Studio 52, I pop in and out of The Record Company all the time, I can read sheet music, I know my music theory, I can explain things with a little bit of finesse and fun - I like what I do. Hopefully, it's contagious, and you'll come to fancy the piano just as much as I do.
Education
-Pratt Institute, BFA Fine Arts Drawing, 2018-2022. Graduated Honors
-RISD Pre-College 2017 Drawing Program
-Hanover High School, 2014-2018

I'm also saving up for a master's, too.
