I offer one-to-one Japanese lessons adapted to your level and goals. I am a native Japanese speaker, and I can explain Japanese in English, and also in simple French (B1 level) if needed.
My lessons are suitable for:
Complete beginners who want to start Japanese
Learners who want to improve speaking and listening
Students interested in Japanese culture, daily expressions, and natural conversation
Lessons are flexible and student-centered.
We can focus on:
Basic grammar and sentence structure
Everyday conversation
Pronunciation and natural expressions
Cultural explanations (politeness, daily life, customs)
Classes can be held online or in person in Bordeaux (cafés, libraries, or another agreed place).

About Me

I am a native Japanese speaker and an undergraduate student majoring in Global Studies at Ritsumeikan University (College of International Relations).
I am currently studying in France as an exchange student, where I am deeply engaged in international and intercultural environments.
I can teach mainly in English, and I am also able to communicate in French at a B1 level, which can be helpful for beginners.
My lessons are friendly, flexible, and adapted to each student’s level and goals.
Beyond language, I enjoy sharing Japanese culture, including daily life, communication styles, and popular culture such as manga.
I am also very active and enjoy volleyball, as well as music and games, which helps me create an open and relaxed learning atmosphere.

Experience / Qualifications

I have one year of experience teaching Japanese in an informal but consistent setting. While living in Japan, I regularly helped my French friends learn Japanese, focusing on daily conversation, pronunciation, and practical expressions used in real life. Through this experience, I learned how to adapt explanations to learners who are unfamiliar with Japanese grammar and writing systems.
In addition, I worked as a part-time tutor at a cram school, where I supported students in an academic environment. This role helped me develop clear communication skills, patience, and the ability to explain complex ideas step by step.
As a native Japanese speaker and an undergraduate student in Global Studies at Ritsumeikan University, I also have a strong academic background in international relations and intercultural communication. Currently studying in France as an exchange student, I am accustomed to multilingual and multicultural environments, which allows me to understand learners’ challenges and support them effectively.
