For online classes in art, graphic design, fashion, and games design, here is an updated list of topics, starting with fine art:

Fine Art: Exploring Contemporary Practices – Teach students about contemporary fine art techniques and concepts, including painting, sculpture, and mixed media. Explore how artists today address themes like identity, politics, and culture, and encourage students to develop their own visual language and creative voice through hands-on projects.

Graphic Design Fundamentals – Teach essential principles of graphic design, such as composition, typography, color theory, and branding. Students can apply these concepts to real-world projects, such as logo design or digital advertising campaigns.

Fashion Design: Concept to Creation – Guide students through the process of fashion design, from sketching initial concepts to creating mood boards, selecting fabrics, and producing designs that reflect both trends and personal creativity. You could also cover sustainable fashion practices.

Art in Game Design – Explore how visual art and storytelling work together in game design. Teach students about creating compelling game environments, character design, and integrating art direction with game mechanics to build immersive experiences.

Digital Art and Illustration – Focus on digital illustration techniques for art, fashion, or games, using software like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Procreate. Include lessons on concept art, character design, and marketing visuals.

Sustainable Practices in Fashion and Design – Discuss the importance of sustainability in fashion and graphic design, aligning with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Teach how to create designs that minimize environmental impact while maintaining aesthetic appeal.

Fashion Illustration and Digital Rendering – Introduce students to fashion illustration techniques, from hand-drawing sketches to creating polished digital renders. Cover both traditional and digital tools to bring their designs to life.

Concept Art for Games – Focus on the process of creating concept art for games, from environment design to character development. Show how concept art helps shape the visual direction and storytelling in game design.
