Python for data science with NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib and scikit-learn. Deep learning using TensorFlow and Keras. Core theory including regression, classification, clustering, decision trees, random forests, neural networks and CNNs, together with the linear algebra, calculus and statistics underneath them. Computer vision and image classification, which is my published research area. Model evaluation, overfitting and hyperparameter tuning. Writing machine learning work up to academic standard, covering methodology, results and critical evaluation.

Send me your module handbook, assignment brief, thesis spec or the code that will not run, and I plan the session around it before we meet. Nothing generic.
In the lesson I explain the concept with a worked example, then you take the keyboard while I watch and correct, because you learn far more doing it than watching me do it. You finish with annotated notes and a clear next step, and you can message me between sessions with questions.
Practical details
Online over Google Meet or Zoom with screen sharing and a shared whiteboard. Sessions run 60 or 90 minutes. I am based in the UK and teach across GMT and Central European time, with evening and weekend slots that suit students anywhere in Europe.

How I teach:
Every student starts in a different place, so the first thing I do is find out what they actually understand rather than what the syllabus assumes they should. From there I break difficult ideas into small steps, work through plenty of examples, and set focused practice between sessions.
I care more about a student knowing why a method works than memorising the steps, because understanding is what survives exam pressure when a question is worded unfamiliarly. Lessons are structured but relaxed. Students should feel comfortable asking the questions they think are silly, because those are usually the ones that matter most.
I'm patient with mistakes and honest about what still needs work. If a student isn't ready for a topic, I'll say so and we'll go back a step rather than pretend otherwise.
Term has just started, which is the best point in the year to build a routine before mocks in November and December. If your child is beginning Year 11 or Year 13, or retaking GCSE Maths this November, putting support in place now makes a real difference by the time the real papers arrive.

Then we work through it with proper worked examples and real circuit diagrams, and I hand the problem back to you while I watch and correct, because you learn far more doing it than watching me do it.
If the real gap is the maths underneath a topic, complex numbers, phasors, Laplace transforms, we go back and fix that first, because everything after it depends on it.
You finish each session with annotated notes and a clear next step, and you can message me between lessons with questions.
