About Me

Hey there!

My name is Hunter and I am a TEFL certified English Teacher with over 3 years of experience teaching in person and online to students of all ages and levels. I believe language is the gateway to opportunity and connection and it has never been more important than today to know English. I'm an enthusiastic, patient, and dynamic teacher who creatively adapts my lesson plans to my specific student's skill level and interests. I believe learning English can be a very fun experience, especially when one can apply it to their interests and daily life. There are opportunities to practice English everywhere and my goal is to help you take advantage of those opportunities and feel confident when you speak. Every lesson I give starts with a review at the beginning, setting an objective together, participating in an interactive and challenging lesson, applying that knowledge together, then assigning a task for you to apply your learned English in your real-life before the next class.

My lessons & teaching style
I believe learning a new language should be fun! As a teacher, I aim to keep my students on their toes by developing dynamic lessons that involve many activities to practice our English skills. These activities could include reading articles or books together, watching English films and analyzing the scenes or characters, listening and comprehending our favorite English songs, or even reading poetry! As a native speaker with a robust academic background, I can also create specialized classes for students interested in Business English. Whether it's writing your resume together, practicing real-life role-play scenarios, or prepping for that big job interview, I'm happy to help!
